Ace of the Month - Each player will play
18 holes of stroke play. Your full handicap will
be deducted and the lowest net score will be the winner
for that month. Once a player has won a monthly
title she may only compete for low net in her flight.
Each Ace of the Month winner will receive a special
award and be eligible to compete in the Ace of Aces
Tournament at the end of the year. Net and Gross
prizes are awarded in each flight.
Member - Guest (Entry Fee) - This is a
special guest invitational tournament held each year.
The member-guest chairman will announce the format of
this 18-hole tournament. Breakfast, lunch, prizes
and carts are included in the entry fee. The
10-stroke rule will not apply in this tournament.
Spring Handicap - The format consists of
two (2) consecutive days of 18-hole stroke play.
This is a low net tournament. Each day the
tournament score will be posted and the handicap will be
deducted. The winner will be declared from the
combined net scores of both stroke play rounds. We
will have a winner and a runner-up. Other net and
gross prizes will be awarded according to participation.
Ties for the winner will be a sudden death play-off,
beginning on hole #1 with full handicap strokes as they
fall on the card. There may also be sudden death
play-off for runner-up if warranted. The 10-stroke
rule will not apply in this tournament.
Golden Girls: (61 years and Older) -
Play will consist of two rounds, 36-holes of strike
play, played over two (2) consecutive days. Full
handicap will be used. The tournament chairperson
will decide pairings for both divisions. The
winner, in each division, will be the low net score of
the two rounds combined. Other net and gross
prizes will be awarded according to participation.
All ties for winner will have a sudden death play-off
starting on hole #1 with full handicap. The
10-stroke rule will not apply in this tournament.
Babes: (55 years and younger) - Play
will consist of two rounds, 36-holes of strike play,
played over two (2) consecutive days. Full

Founder's Cup - This cup is dedicated to
Bernie Drohan, the first president of the MLGA.
The format consists of two (2) consecutive days of
stroke play. The second day pairings are made up
by the first day net scores. The total of the two
rounds will be combined and full handicap will be
deducted to determine the winner of this event.
There will also be a runner-up prize. Other low
net gross winners will be awarded per participation.
Ties for winner will be in a sudden death play-off
beginning with hole #1., with full handicap strokes as
they fall on the card. The 10-stroke rule will not
apply in this tournament.
MLGA Championship (Entry Fee) - The play
consists of two consecutive days of 36 holes of stroke
play. The tournament will be held on a Saturday
and Sunday. Participants will be flighted
according to their handicaps on the first day of play,
and then paired, in their flights , according to their
gross scores posted for the second day of play.
All participants are eligible to be the MLGA Champion or
Runner-Up that will be determined by the two-day
accumulative gross score, regardless of flight.
Each flight will have low gross and low net winners
depending on the number of players in each flight.
In case of a tie for MLGA Champion, low gross winners in
each flight and runner-ups, there will be a sudden death
play-off beginning with hole #1 (gross scores).
The 10-stroke rule will not apply in this tournament.
Turkey Shoot (Entry Fee) - Men are invited
to play in this event. The format is an 18-hole
tournament played as a Captain's Choice. The teams
will be set up by computer and try to e as even as
possible. Lots of prizes are awarded according to
participation. It's a fun mixed tournament and
great to participate in.
Ace of Aces - At the end of the season,
the Ace of Aces tournament will be played. All
monthly winners will compete in this event. All
Aces will try to play on the date scheduled, however
weekend swingers may play on the proceeding Saturday.
Full handicap is used. The winners are overall low
net and a runner-up. No other tournament may be
played in conjunction with the Ace of Aces. In
case of a tie for winner, a play-off will begin on hole
#1 with full handicap. The 10-stroke rule will not
apply in this tournament.
