The purpose of the MLGA is to promote good fellowship and sportsmanship among its members, and to encourage the active participation of its members in playing golf and taking part in golf tournaments, conducted in accordance with Rules of the United States Golf Association , except as modified by local rules of the Montclair Golf Club.
